Since 1995, Evangelism has been at the heart of Scott Brookins Ministries. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been shared in many areas that do not believe in God and in many challenging circumstances.
The Gospel has been shared throughout the USA, Central and Eastern Europe, Kenya and Uganda. Some of these areas are highlighted below.
Very few people in Europe today believe in God. In most countries, less than 1% of the people would be followers of Jesus Christ. From 1996 to 2011, Scott and, many times his family with him, traveled to work with the local pastors who had invited him to come and help them with evangelism in their communities.
As a former professional musician, music opened the doors to share how God changes lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Scott used his unique style of music to reach people by performing in Jazz Clubs, Pubs, Bars, Coffee Houses, Schools, Hospitals, Prisons, and Concert Halls. At these times, Scott always shared the Good News of Jesus Christ. Several of these concerts were broadcast on local television stations and hundreds of thousands of people have been able to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“For years we invite people in the town to come to church, but no one comes. Tonight, the town sponsored your concert, and 15–20 people came to hear your music, but most important: you shared the Gospel with them. It is a miracle to me! ”
— Pastor Karel, Czech Republic
“We needed to hear what God said through you. Many come to church, but have not repented and given their lives to Jesus. Our home groups have been discussing your message all week.”
— Pastor, Czech Republic
Kenya – Scott traveled to Kenya in 2007 and 2009 to work with local pastors. They had invited him to come and preach at outreach crusades, church services, village schools, and in 2009 he was the guest teacher at a pastors conferences.
Uganda – In 2005, God started Scott ministering in Uganda. The seed was planted for what became, in 2013, the sole focus of the ministry.
Scott preaches at outreach crusades, church services, village schools, prayer groups and pastors conferences. God allows Scott to give messages of hope, encouragement, and also clearly explain the Good News of Jesus Christ and why everyone needs a Savior. Hundreds, if not thousands of lives have been changed through this ministry.
