Uganda, September–October 2014
Hi Friends,
Thank you for all your prayers and support of our trip to Uganda. We were blessed to see all that God is doing through our ministry and your partnership. We had a very busy week and will try to share as best we can in writing what God is doing in Uganda.
We would love to come visit your church, or if you would like to host a house meeting and invite friends and family, and have us share about the work God has called us to in Uganda, please contact us.
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

Voices of Love School & Orphanage
We spent a full day visiting the village of Bulamu, where the 10 acres of land is located. It is in the Mityana region, about 49 kilometers (30 miles), west of Kampala. Bulamu means “Life,” and God has given life to this village through the school, 2 water wells, and the planned orphanage and medical center.
We met with several of the village leaders and they expressed excitement and gratitude for what is developing through Pastor Benjamin and our partnership.
The work that remains before the school opens in February 2015 is the finishing work of construction. We need to plaster the walls, install doors and windows, etc. As of today, the remaining funds needed is $2,450. Please pray about partnering with us to finish the 3 class rooms and 3 room office area before the end of December 2014.
Backpacks for Voice of Love Children
Here is Pastor Benjamin with the backpacks for the 150 children when the school opens in February 2015. Thank you to those of you that helped us purchase these before we left. It was amazing and exciting, as we stepped out in Faith to order these, to see God provide through you. THANK YOU!
Women’s Business Projects
We enjoyed a great day with the “Women of Love” business projects. There are 4 projects: Candle Making, Sweater Making, Baking, and Woven Mats. The ladies are doing amazing work in learning new talents and skills in order for them to provide for themselves and their children.
They are overcoming being abandoned and deserted by their husbands or the husband’s family. The testimonies of what God is doing in their lives are overwhelming to hear. They blessed us so much with their kind words, prayers and samples of their work. We will share some videos next month from the Women of Love.
Bible Project
Our Bible Project continues to distribute Bibles to new believers and brothers and sisters that can not afford to purchase a Bible. We were honored to personally be able to give away many Bibles one evening after I preached a message.
Home Prayer Visits
We were honored again to be invited to many people’s homes to pray for them, their families and their situations. Some of these brothers and sisters in Christ are in very difficult situations and they honored us because we were willing to come to their homes.
We also met many of the women and children that we are supporting each month and were able to visit some of their children at schools where we provide the tuition.
Church Services
God allowed me to preach in 5 church services in 5 days in Kampala, Mpigi, and Entebbe.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.
James 1:27
