Thank you for all your prayers and support!

We had a great trip to Uganda to be with our family and friends. God is impacting so many lives through all our projects. Our schedule was very busy as usual and it was exciting to see all that God is doing.

We heard so many powerful testimonies on how God is touching and changing lives through each of our projects:

  • Voices of Love School
  • Farming
  • Women of Love Business Shop
  • Bible Distribution
  • Preaching God’s Word
  • Prayer Visits

Thank you for being with us, thanks for your love, prayers, and support always, thanks for the Word, it turned around many lives. Uganda loves you!

Voices of Love School

For 10 years, our school has been the model school in the region as the students continue to excel in their studies and exam scores. Several graduates of VOL are attending University and other higher education and professions.

The staff, the students, and the chairman of the Parents organization all expressed their thanks for the quality of education we have at VOL. God is blessing so many children and adults in the region.

Teaching Staff

VOL Football

We again had a fun time cheering on the boys football team in a match with another school. VOL came from behind to win 5-3!!

Teacher Housing

The construction of the staff teacher housing is continuing as the funds are provided. There are 12 units. Once these are completed, we will no longer need to rent housing for the teachers and the savings will help the monthly budget for the school.

We are one of the few, if not the only, schools in the region that provides housing for the staff.

Farming

Both farm locations continue to produce excellent crops of maize. The amount of rain that our main farm receives for now limits us to just growing the maize. The eucalyptus trees that we planted are growing very well and are soaking up the excess water on the property.

Animal Project

The animal project is growing. We currently still have the animals on the VOL property, but we need to move them as soon as possible to our main farm, as there is not enough grass to feed all the cows, goats, and sheep. To do that, we need to build a simple shelter for the farm and animal caretakers to live in. This will save us the funds we spend on renting them places to live as well.

This is no longer a wish, but an urgent necessity.

Some parents at VOL have offered to provide a good amount of the bricks needed.  We also need to level several acres and seed it for the grass needed to feed the animals.

Preaching

I preached in 5 services at 4 different churches, all connected with Benjamin’s church.

Thanks for the Word you preached that encouraged many.

At several of the churches, people came forward to share how the message had impacted them or what they had learned.

After I shared a message on forgiveness, one woman stated how she “had never heard or learned that it’s so important to forgive ourselves as well as others.”

This message was what our church needed.

Women of Love Business Shop

The Women of Love are amazing! They have developed many products and projects to sell to their retail and wholesale customers, including making all the uniforms and sweaters for our Voices of Love School.

We are so very proud of them and look forward to seeing how God expands this important project.

Bible Distribution

We were able to provide Bibles to many people at a couple of Benjamin’s churches. Bibles cost about $10 each, which doesn’t sound like much to us, but if you earn perhaps $30 a month income, a Bible is very expensive. They were so grateful to receive their own Bible.

Thanks so much brother Scott and sister Laura for the Bibles you gave to the ministers and new converts. We’re eternally grateful.
